Write the title as the first line of the file

If you don’t want a title, make the first line no-title on

Lines starting with a hyphen, - Like this, become checkboxes

Like this

Lines without a hyphen become headings in the file (h1)

If you want ordinary text paragraphs as well as headings, put one or more # signs before your headings. Then unadorned text becomes paragraphs.

One hash (# Heading) for top-level headings (h1), two (## Subheading) for subheadings, etc.

Indenting the next checkbox hyphen to or beyond the text indent of the previous checkbox item indents checkboxes.

You can have type-in box to, by using a $ prefix, for one line, or $60x4, for example, for a textual input that is initially sized as 60 columns by 4 lines.

Quite a lot of Markdown features also work, including:

`Monospaced` produced Monospaced (typewriter-style) text for code etc.

Most items can be nested by indenting them.

The directive :chrome on is not normally used. It is used here to make the checklist appear with CheckEagle site’s banner and foot appear.

Content can be broken across lines by matching the text indentation on continuation lines.

Any checklist with any checkboxes or text inputs gets a SUBMIT button, like below, to save a completion.

By default, the styling will be similar to this checklist, but you have almost complete freedom to restyle it (see below).
